With the help of many great books, I started to learn jewellery making by myself. After two years as an autodidact, I went to The RhoK (art) Academy in Brussels, where I completed six years of training. I had the privilege of having a great mentor, Max Gielis, a very gifted Belgian silversmith.
It is only after 20 years as an actor and performer and 20 years as a pilot that I decided to fulfil the dream that I had as a youngster: making silver jewellery.
I now work in my studio in Tervuren, Belgium.
